The Canyon House is in Central Washington near the historic town of Ellensburg. This quiet but bustling town has 325 days of sunshine a year! Our ranch house is located on 25 acres in the beautiful Kittitas County. The Stuart Mountain range is in the distance and you immediately feel at peace as you drive into the pristine Yakima Canyon. The Canyon is full of wildlife, rivers, fly fisherman,and summertime rafters. The solitude and the views are breathtaking. The driveway welcomes all visitors "Canyon Ranch Quarter Horses." Oreo the black and white Quarter Horse and Jasper the grey Morgan greet you as you drive up. This vacation home is perched on the hill overlooking the Yakima river. Here you will immediately feel at home and relaxed. The cherry wood floors are warm and inviting. The house is decorated Northwest ranch style and furnished with everything you need for a perfect stay. You will feel like sitting in the leather chair in front of the big picture window with a book. This is a perfect place for family vacations, fishing excursions, wine tasting weekends, reunions and more...The town of Ellensburg is close for boutique shopping, antiquing, fine dining and seasonal entertainment. Hiking and wildlife viewing is a must. Many of our guests say "we never want to leave once we get to the canyon house, how can we stay longer? Others have said.
